Statewide REALTOR® membership continued its positive momentum in September, reaching 18,846 members. This represents an increase of 240 members, or 1.29%, compared to September of last year.

Across all membership categories, Alabama REALTORS® now has 18,996 total members, reflecting a year-over-year increase of 153 members, or 0.81%.

Membership growth was recorded in 12 of Alabama's 23 local associations.

According to the most recent comparison data available from the National Association of REALTORS®, Alabama's membership stands at 18,283 representing a 0.69% increase over the previous month.

Among medium-sized state associations, Alabama currently ranks 6th for membership growth. Arkansas REALTORS® reported the highest growth rate at 1.09%.
